Shetland Museum receives mirror lensThe new Shetland museum has loaned a rare concave dioptric mirror to restore its lighthouse display. Museum curator Tommy Watts visited the museum in the hope that he could find the missing piece of the Bressay light. Happily the museum of Scottish Lighthouses was able to show him several mirrors that could be used with the light. The mirror will be incorporated in the lens from Bressay, which will be one of the main displays at the museum when it opens in 2006. Other News |
