9th August - Peterhead Harbour Open Day

16th - 17th August International Lighthouse Weekend (Free Entry)

The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses will be taking part in the annual International Ligthouse Weekend along with lighthouse museums accross the world; organised by the Association of Lighthouse Keepers. The Museum will run tours of the mysterious Wine Tower throughout the weekend.

17th August is also Fraserburgh Lifeboat Open Day.

11th - 14th September - Heritage Open Days

The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses will take part in Heritage Open Days.

13th - 21st September - North East Open Studios

The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses will be taking part in North East Open Studios for the first time this year. The exhibition "The Art of the Lighthouse" will feature works by local artists, paintings from the Museum's collections and copies of works by some of the most famous artists in the world. The Museum also stocks the NEOS catalogues.

20th - 21st September - Heritage Lottery Fund Heritage Days & Doors Open Days

The Museum will be free for this weekend as part of Heritage Lottery Fund's Heritage Weekend and Doors Open Days. The Museum will run special tours to the Wine Tower on both days.
