July - September 201021st & 22nd July - International Lighthouse Weekend 31st July - Tartan Day in Aberdeen 14th August - Peterhead Harbour Open Day 21st & 22nd August - International Lighthouse Weekend (Free Entry) Join in the fun for our 15th birthday celebrations on International Ligthouse Weekend. Lighthouse making, 'Crafty Lights' workshops and radio links with lighthouses accross the world will all take place over the weekend. 21st August - Truely Scrumptious Gourmet 6-8pm This year the Museum is 15 years old. Come and join in the fun tasing food from local producers, and listening to a local musician. 3pm 4th September - Launch of 'Scottish Lighthouse Poems' by Knotbrook Taylor. Knotbrook Taylor, the Museum's Writer in Residence, launches his new volume of lighthouse poetry at the Museum with the help of special guest poet John Glenday. 6th - 28th September - Exhibition 'Crafty Lights' for North East Open Studios The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses will be taking part in North East Open Studios . The Museum also stocks the NEOS catalogues. 20th September - Cafe Light 12.30-13.30 The Museum's cafe will be hosting a talk from a Scientist in partnership with Aberdeen University.
